Position Summary:
Provides essential support to the training function and plays a key role in delivering a smooth, well-organized
learning experience for employees. This entry-level role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented,
tech-savvy, and eager to grow in the L&D field. The Coordinator assists with training logistics, LMS
maintenance, content support, material vetting, reporting, and administrative responsibilities that help the
department operate efficiently. The role may include limited facilitation of scripted or introductory content
to support primary trainers.

tech-savvy, and eager to grow in the L&D field. The Coordinator assists with training logistics, LMS
maintenance, content support, material vetting, reporting, and administrative responsibilities that help the
department operate efficiently. The role may include limited facilitation of scripted or introductory content
to support primary trainers.
Essential Functions:
- Coordinate training sessions, including scheduling, room setup, materials preparation, and participant communication.
- Assist department by managing attendance rosters, distributing materials, and collecting evaluations.
- Support onboarding sessions and company-wide training events.
- Assist with limited facilitation tasks, such as delivering scripted introductions, housekeeping information, or basic onboarding content, as assigned.
- Upload, assign, and track training content within the Learning Management System.
- Run training reports and distribute completion data to leaders as needed.
- Troubleshoot user issues and escalate system problems when appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and organized learning records.
- Assist with basic updates to training materials, slides, job aids, and handouts.
- Vet training materials for accuracy, clarity, quality, and alignment with organizational standards.
- Help organize and maintain the library of learning resources.
- Support L&D Department and SMEs in preparing content for training sessions or eLearning uploads.
- Maintain learning calendars and department communication channels.
- Track attendance, survey results, and training metrics.
- Support special projects such as leadership programs, compliance training, or new initiatives.
- Manage requests submitted to the L&D team and ensure timely follow-up.
- Support the overall workflow of the L&D function to ensure smooth program delivery.
- Provide excellent internal customer service to employees and leaders seeking training assistance.
Additional Job-Related Duties:
- Comply with federal and state law, regulations, and all Company rules.
- Participate in online and in-person training and other educational opportunities to develop knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfort learning new technology tools.
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and follow through.
- Any other job-related activities requested by immediate supervisor.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required - Business or Education focus preferred. May be in process of obtaining degree required for the internship.
- 0–2 years of experience in learning & development, training, HR, education, or administrative support.
- Experience with an LMS or training management system preferred.
- Exposure to instructional design, adult learning principles, or training facilitation.
- Experience in customer service, administrative roles, or project coordination.
Physical Requirements:
- This position requires long hours sitting and using office equipment, including telephones and computers and may also require some light lifting of files and materials and carrying checks, mail, and other documentation to different departments from time to time.
- The position may also involve some repetitive motions of the hands, wrists, and elbows.
Working Conditions:
- This position is normally performed in an office work environment, which does not subject the employee to the elements. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderately quiet.
- This position may require a flexible schedule and periodic overtime.
